AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY HOPE LODGE

GIVING CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS A CHANCE TO RECEIVE QUALITY MEDICAL CARE

The American Cancer Society is proud to have a network of thirty one Hope Lodges across the country, two of them here in New York State. These places of comfort provide lodging and support services (all free of charge) for cancer patients and their caregivers when they are receiving outpatient treatment away from home. The guests, as they are affectionately known, benefit from full amenities and a host of social and wellness programs, including yoga, meditation, healing touch and music therapy. We offer the following facts about the sixty-room Hope Lodge New York City, located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, as an example of the level of commitment

the American Cancer Society has made to improve the quality of the lives of people living with cancer.

Hope Lodge NYC first opened its doors at 132 W32nd street more than 16 years ago, in November of 2007.

Since then it has served over 25,000 patients and their caregivers as they travel to New York to receive treatment.
